Welcome

The governing body plays an important role in the life of our school and works with the Headteacher to maintain standards and plan improvements.
Parents are encouraged to think about becoming a governor when vacancies arise. Being a governor means helping plan activities, helping with parents' meetings and representing all the parents at the governors' meetings when decisions are made to ensure a good education for your child.

These meetings take place regularly through the school year. There are also teacher governors, Local Authority governors and community governors at these meetings and our joint concern is that your child should have the best education possible.

So if you would like to become a Parent Governor and gain an understanding of how your child's school works, then please either download the attached form or ask the the school office for a paper copy.
